Numerous Ways to Donate

By donating what you no longer need to Ditto, you're supporting sustainable practices AND helping raise scholarship funds for area students. We couldn't be more grateful for your generosity and what your support has already made possible: ELEVEN years in business and almost $2.5 MILLION distributed.

DONATE YOUR ITEMS
We accept donations Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at our dedicated Donation Drop-Off behind the building. For a map of this area, click here.

  1. Gather and prepare. When possible, place donations in a packing box, storage container, or secured in a plastic bag for protection. Click here for a list of everything we accept.

    • If donating furniture, please call the store at 314-394-2026 to arrange or email us to schedule one of our monthly furniture donation pickups.

  2. Pull behind the building to our Donation Drop-Off. Look for our bright blue Donation awning, and pull next to the windowed garage door.

  3. Place items on a wheeled donation cart. If there are none available or you need help with unloading, ring the doorbell, and we’ll be happy to assist!

  4. Take a donation receipt. Signed and dated donation receipts are available if claiming your donation as a charitable deduction. Refer to the attached Valuation Guide for Ditto Donors when assigning a value to your items.

Please do not leave donations after store hours. We cannot use items left in this manner and have to dispose of them.

BUY A DITTO GIFT CARD
You can purchase physical and digital (e-gift) cards at the store. Ditto gift cards can be applied to any in-store purchase, making them the perfect gift for you or a fellow resale fan.

DONATE YOUR TIME
Consider joining our team - a mix of paid employees, volunteers from our member schools, and a growing group of community volunteers who work together to run the store.
