DEG Application Requirements & Considerations
DEG applications must include clear and well-defined goals highlighting the proposed project/program's educational merit, broad impact, and how it meets a specific need or challenge. Applications must also provide an implementation timetable, working budget, and written acknowledgment and approval from the school's principal/head. If the DEG review committee needs additional information, they will contact the applicant directly.
The DEG review committee will also consider the following aspects when reviewing each proposal: innovation and educational sustainability - the ability to continue or replicate the project/program after initial funding. The committee may also give preference to projects that benefit the largest number of individuals and encourage collaboration among grades, disciplines, schools, or the community.
